Beautiful restaurant with a awesome view, that was busy on a Saturday night, as well as having a large private party. The waiter was nice & provided good service. Most of our food was great, the hot wings were over cooked, very dry. Disappointed with menu choices, we expected more variety of fresh vegetables. They do only use Alabama grown ingredients which I give cudos for. Overall good experience.

Great view of the lake. Food was good (not amazing, but certainly serviceable: I got the shrimp platter. The shrimp were well cooked but the batter was a little soggy.). Carnitas Nachos were excellent as an appetizer.

Questions & Answers

Yes they open their normal business hours and days

Kowaliga marina does have a beautiful lake . It is located in Alexcity, Alabama

you wo7md have to call the restuarant to find out particulars.

It was destroyed by fire in 1999..

The evenings are Thursday - Saturday and Sunday 11:00 - 2:00. Also open at lunch on Saturday.

No, they will open on Thursday.

They are open until 2pm on Sunday.

It is off season hours, and they have been updated on Kowliga's website. Not sure if Google reflects the seasonal hours acuratly as they change. These guys have the most expansive hours by far for on water dining at Lake Martin. The menu is always changing, always ask what the special is. The mahi-mahi is fabulous and better than most I have had on the Gulf Coast. Best, Kevin

Reservations are not necessary. However, if you're interested in an evening meal, I recommend getting there early. Also, it isn't so crowded during the off seasin.
